Remember fotopic.net ?

Finally, after 2 1/2 years after fotopic.net shut shop, I finally get all my pics back through a download facility they've set up.  Try http://www.fotopic.net/ for those that may have pics up there and want them back.

Just a sample of some of the pics of Garahbara I had up there.  One day, when I get better at it, Garahbara might get featured and published somewhere. :)

.....and some more......

and these......

What about these?

Better put some trains in!!!

..... and some locos as well.

Enjoy. :)

    1. Shelton, Not real backdrops. All done in the computer. Pics of local rural scenery, with the layout pics (with walls and stuff behind the scene removed using the computer) then layout pics overlaid on top. Photoshop is your friend. :)

  2. Hi Alan,

Looks good! I met you again at the newsagents the other day. If you are on Facebook look me up. There are pics of my layout/s on there. Not nearly as complete as yours....

    Keep up the good work.

  3. Alan, I've only just looked at your blog more closely - I have no idea why I didn't do that earlier - and I must say, with a good degree of envy, that yours is some of the finest modelling I have ever come across. The precision of your buildings, the fine details, the general ambience - absolutely outstanding. I'd love to see, and I'm sure so would many others, a decent spread in AMRM. Congrats on a very special job. Regards, Walter.
